Individual Courses
We offer tailor made individual short courses with overnight stay and private lessons. Read more about our short courses on the next page

Special Courses
Evening "Hands On"

one day per week over four or five weeks
These courses are organized as a series of cookery days to suit men and women working during the day. All levels beginners to skilled are catered for. In 2012 these courses take part in November.
Cost: from €100 Euro

Weekend Courses
The main recipe will have you using mussels and salmon, mint and sorrel, duck and lamb, buttermilk and cheeses, and a dash of Guinness, Mist and Mead to enhance the flavours. We deliberately keep our numbers to ten and under so that you our guests will gain maximum benefit from the tuition in the relaxed traditional homely atmosphere of Berry Lodge. Courses are designed to suit all levels. The only criteria is a love of learning and a desire to get some cookery knowledge

This exciting programme will begin with a welcoming dinner where you will be introduced to your host and teacher Rita.

  • Arrive 4.0 pm to 7.0 pm Friday
  • Welcome dinner 7.30 pm
  • Breakfast Sat 8.30 am to 9.30 am
  • Walk by the sea
  • Recipe folders supplied
  • Demonstration 11.0am to 1.0pm followed by Break
  • ”Hands on” cookery 2.0 pm to 4.0/5.0 pm
  • Service and analysis
  • Lunch with wine
  • Free-rest or explore the area
